nali B - that's me!

This probably makes me crazy, but oh well.  I'm selling my own personal shape for kicks.  I like it.  My not-so-better half is always telling me how adorable my avatar is...so why not?  Maybe someone else will find it adorable too.  So here it is...up on the SLMP and in-world... And here's to all of our mothers who taught us "don't be so stingy, share!"  LAWL

4 new shapes up

Usually I make shapes that are, less endowed in the chest area.  I spent quite a bit of time in my "new to sl" days as a model for Vitamin-Ci and Extraordinaire, and then later a chunk of time as the Extraordinaire main model and photographer.  For the latter stores ads, (and once for a risque lingerie store I won't mention because I'm rather embarrassed my picture is still up selling their outfits) my chest had to be larger, because the outfits were sexy and that was the point...boobs barely contained, almost spilling out.  But for the first store, and in general, for most outfits, I preferred a smaller chest size...this ensured me that prims usually fit pretty well and shirt textures weren't oddly stretched out.  So most of my shapes...reflect my preference.  Staring at my sl mom's ginormous chest, inspired me to create some looks that were more curvy; to stray just a bit from my comfort zone and go less for cute and more for sexy.  I don't know if I succeeded, but I had fun making these and I personally like them and hope someone else out there will too.

Available on SL Marketplace

I figured since my inventory is going to fill up with the shapes I make for each skin, I might as well sell them and maybe earn a few lindens to fund my picture uploading hobby.  Cheers to the start of a mess and a nice little hobby to keep me busy during my college breaks.

Na'vi playtime

No, I am not one of those people who just went GA-GA over the Avatar movie.  But it was pleasant enough.  Sometimes I just get on these kicks and I feel like doing something different.  So, I picked up this AWESOME free skin from Unique Megastore and began putting a look together.  I went to two different Na'vi/Avatar RP sims; where I ended up having to explain a little bit about what I was doing.  I guess because of sl-griefing, people are usually a little bit suspicious when a new-comer shows up, minus a combat/rp hud and start wandering around.  Understandable.   The above image was taken at the nAvitar rp sim, and the one below was taken at Pandora Universe.  Both very lovely sims.  The owners/managers of the nAvitar sim were especially friendly and helpful; except for an odd tiger who tp'd on top of me and told me my lady bits were showing and I needed to be wearing an OOC tag, which was rather odd because I WAS wearing an OOC tag, and my lady bits were fairly well covered with a feathered loincloth.  One question....why was his/her cam in my digital crotch?

52 Week Color Challenge

My best friend goobear (Dawnde - blog here) has been participating in Luna Jubilee's 52 week color challenge (blog here). It looks like fun so I'm jumping on the wagon, with a twist of my own. I really don't feel like hunting just for outfits that fit the color requirements...so for my own version of this challenge, I'm going to try to nail the colors, but also create a mood. I'm less interested in the outfits and more interested in feelings. This means lots of quirky themed images. These days my plate is pretty full with college classes so don't expect heaps of images. But I will try to make sure I get at least one image/mood/theme for each color. I'm starting a bit late so we have some catching up to do. With each image I'll post the keywords/word associations that inspired the image.

Week 1 : Grey
Keywords: Mystery, Danger, Vintage, Stylish, Sleek
Week 2: Blue
Keywords : Melancholy, Reflective, Somber

Week 3: Goldenrod
Keywords: Rich, Oriental, Sophisticated

Week 4: Plum
Just don't ask. I'll be redoing this after college finals. Wow...so uhm...yeah...sl graphics processing....pretty cool.

Week 5: Sepia

Week 6: Yellow
